Kristen is an expert in 设计ing and delivering digital solutions to meet today’s housing, 无家可归, and community development challenges. Kristen is the deputy of content strategy and 设计 on the U.S. Department of 住房 and Urban Development (HUD) Exchange project, an online platform for providing program information, 指导, 服务, and tools to HUD’s community partners, including state and local governments, 非营利组织, public housing authorities, 和部落. 在这个角色中, she leads web product and tool development with expertise in the full web-based project life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, 线框图, 设计, usability testing, agile development, user acceptance testing, 和启动. 

As a lead knowledge manager with a background in HUD’s housing and community development programs, Kristen translates highly complex policy and regulatory information into easily digestible and accessible web content that grantees can use to effectively and compliantly implement their programs. Kristen specializes in leading content strategy efforts focusing on creating effective digital solutions that are innovative, 用户友好的, and that meet the user’s needs. 

Kristen led a major re设计 of the HUD Exchange website in 2016 which won the 2017 Center for Digital Government Project Experience Award. She leads a variety of web and product development activities, including content re设计s/refreshes, 工具包, tools and calculators, 在线培训, 还有更多.
